Our Stakeholders

We recognise that we will be measured by how we interact with our stakeholders, who are:

Our Commitments
  • We reject bribery and corruption in all activities undertaken by us or by others on our behalf.
  • We comply with applicable laws and emphasise the importance of our trade channel & commercial practices.
  • We will abide by the rules governing advertising and promotion of our products and the more stringent provisions of our self-imposed restrictions on the Marketing of Brand Extensions in India.
How we will execute our Code
  • While each member is responsible for its own its own compliance with the law and this Code, the ISWAI Board (by unanimous approval) will adopt specific recommendations (including applicable timelines) to facilitate and enhance industry compliance practices.
  • At ISWAI meetings, each member shall report on its adoption and implementation of the recommendations, as well as other related initiatives the member is considering. The purpose of the report is to maintain a sense of accountability among members with respect to the recommendations, as well as to facilitate sharing of best practices and mutual support. The report should be a candid assessment of the member’s progress, however it may be qualified as necessary in consideration of confidential or sensitive information.
